Gemini (May 21-June 20) Geminis can be prone to digestive problems. Fiber is in high demand for the good bacteria in the stomach to thrive. Whole-grain bread and crackers should be a daily part of the Gemini diet. Bananas and avocados, foods high in potassium, are also very helpful to digestion.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) The emotional beings Cancerians make them in need of foods high in omega-3 fatty acids. Salmon, oysters, mackerel, sardines, walnuts, and flax seeds all have high amounts to help regulate mood swings for which Cancers are often noted to suffer.
Leo (July 23-Aug 22) Leos tend to like rich foods but, as they age, these foods are often too high in unhealthy fats and cholesterol. It’s a good idea to cut down and replace them with heart-healthy proteins such as lean chicken or turkey and a wide selection of fruits, vegetables, and nuts.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep 22) Virgos can be plagued with upset stomachs and intestinal disorders. Papaya, banana, flax seeds, and whole grains are helpful to reduce stomach flare-ups, and smaller portions more often can help to regulate the intestinal system’s processes.
Libra (Sep 23-Oct 22) Kidney ailments sometimes plague Libras. Foods good to ensure the proper functioning of the kidneys with plenty of water for flushing the system include sea bass, egg whites, olive oil, blueberries, and garlic.
Scorpio (Oct 23-Nov 21) Scorpios are more prone to infections of the urinary tract. Cranberries are especially helpful. A mixture of mashed cranberries with fyogurt containing live, active cultures is excellent to rid an infection of the urinary tract. Sweeten to taste with honey.
Sagittarius (Nov 22-Dec 21) Since liver ailments can be a problem, Sagittarians should drink a good deal of coffee and green tea. Beets, avocado, walnuts, and brown rice are foods that should be plentifully added to the regular diet.
Capricorn (Dec 22-Jan 19) Arthritis can be a problem with aging Capricorns. Good at any age to promote strong joints are brussel sprouts, green tea, pomegranates, brown rice, and almonds. Fish and eggs are good for Capricorns who experience slower metabolisms.
Aquarius (Jan 20-Feb 18) Aquarians can tend to have weight problems. Lean proteins such as chicken and turkey, chili peppers, apple cider vinegar, and ginger are all foods that speed the metabolism.
Pisces (Feb 19-Mar 20) Sometimes anemic, Pisces people do well to consume foods rich in iron and vitamin B-12. Spinach, liver, dark chocolate, apricots, trout, salmon, and yogurt should be incorporated into their diets regularly. Liver should not be in the diet more than once or twice a week, though.
