When the first case of the novel coronavirus was detected in Wuhan, China on December 1, 2019, Jupiter joined Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. This was after residing in its home sign of Sagittarius for a little over a year.
Jupiter, the planet of international travel, may have even hastened the release of the hidden virus, ensuring it would make its way around the world.
2. The Virus Correlates to Many Heavenly Bodies
It has spread westward, not unlike the planet Saturn. It also spreads through respiratory droplets, many times on solid surfaces. This connects it to Saturn as well, as it is considered a “formite.”

There is no real known date that marks exactly when the virus started, but a rare event did occur on December 26, 2019. Many astrologers believe this may have triggered the previously minor emergence to reach pandemic proportions.
On that day, we had a solar eclipse while five planets occupied Sagittarius simultaneously. Such events can breed political coups, natural disasters, and the unprecedented spread of diseases.
5. Saturn and Pluto Meeting Up
These two planets meet in different zodiac signs approximately every 35 years, and this usually signals recessions, financial overhauls, and fiscal ruin. It can even lead to war, as one conjunction signaled the beginning of World War I in 1918, but it usually marks economic change.

Following what we already said about Saturn being restrictive, it goes without saying that this is bound to have an effect on the flight business as the planet passes through air sign Aquarius until July 21st before returning in December, meaning we will literally have “air restrictions.” Also, don’t forget, Jupiter represents global travel and it is stuck in earth sign Capricorn until December as well, meaning we’ll have grounded flights.
This all adds up to fewer people than ever buying airline tickets for domestic travel. This means that, out of fear and precaution, many of us are more likely to take road trips in 2020.
7. Pluto and Jupiter are Traveling Close in 2020
Both planets are slow travelers, and each are traveling within significant degrees to one another this year. These planets meet about every 13 years. Pluto will search for an issue that needs our attention. If Mars or Pluto do not uncover anything important, the period remains stress-free and unremarkable. However, this time, conversely, this may mean that while Pluto uncovered this virus, Jupiter is spreading it.
This is grim news for older folks, which are ruled by Capricorn, the sign that both of these trouble-making planets are currently in. After all, an older person is known to be much more susceptible to losing his or her life to the potentially deadly virus.
