There are at least seven states that have experienced a record increase in coronavirus cases. Experts are concerned because we are approaching the holiday season, and many people will be having large family gatherings. The cold weather is also forcing people to spend more time inside, which will make it easier for the virus to spread.

North Dakota, New Mexico, Minnesota, Idaho, Colorado, West Virginia and Indiana have set new record highs. Colorado reported 1,312 new cases on Friday. As a result of this, the mayor of Denver stated that there will be tougher rules. People will now be required to wear face coverings when they are outdoors. They will also be required to limit gatherings to five people or less.
