The Galactic Starcruiser is a new hotel slated to open in the spring of 2022 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park. Located adjacent to the park, this hotel puts you right in the middle of the magic. Guests are able to book two-night experiences that encompass far more than just a traditional hotel stay.
In addition to the hotel accommodations, you will also receive the opportunity to engage in a host of special activities while also getting priority access to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and its Galaxy’s Edge land. Guests will be transported to planet Batuu as part of an exclusive daytime excursion. While there, you can also visit the other areas of the theme park.
About the Experience
Guests will board the Galactic Starcruiser and embark on a unique Stars Wars adventure. After boarding the launch pod to the Halcyon starcruiser, you will be transported into a world like no other.
The themed guest rooms offer all of the standard hotel amenities in addition to special touches that carry the theme one step further. Gaze out of your cabin at the stars and planets floating by and then wake up to meet all of your favorite Star Wars characters. All of the 100 guest rooms boast a magnificent view of the galaxy.
You can spend your days choosing a series of customized activities that include lightsaber building and fighting, a droid racing competition, bridge training, sabacc lessons, and more. You are in control of your adventure aboard the Galactic Starcruiser. Travel experts are comparing the experience to a cruise ship and its many onboard experiences and activities.
What Your Visit Includes
Your visit includes two nights in a themed cabin or suite designed to accommodate families of varying sizes. The price tag also includes ongoing entertainment to fill your days and nights. Your package includes food and beverages while on board the starcruiser, exclusive of alcohol and specialty beverages. You can also choose to enjoy meals at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or at another quick-service dining location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Also included in your package is admission for your travel party to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a special VIP excursion to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Rather than the standard MagicBand afforded to Disney World guests, you will receive an exclusive Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser databand.
All of this fun does not come cheap. Rates for the two-night package for a family of four starts at $5,999 for the voyage total.

Dining Options
One of the biggest selling points of any Disney vacation is its themed dining. This experience is certainly no exception. A number of unique dining experiences await you aboard the Starcruiser. Your first dinner is in the stunning Crown of Corellia Dining Room, serving up a delicious multi-course meal along with entertainment.
On the second night of your experience, you will enjoy the Taste Around the Galaxy, highlighting dishes inspired by the planets of the galaxy. Each dish is introduced with information about its history and ingredients. The meal includes an appetizer platter for the table, a choice of entrees, and a dessert.
Your package also includes breakfast and lunch in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room. Begin your day with a variety of hot and cold small plates, fresh juices, coffee, and the famous Bubo Wamba Family Farms blue milk. Lunch includes a bevy of small bites, such as comforting soups, salads, sandwiches, and flatbreads.
Be sure to visit the Sublight Lounge during your visit. This lounge is an ideal place to relax with an alcoholic beverage, mingle with other passengers, or plan out your next activity.
