Spring is in the air! The coming of spring means more people will be outdoors. That is, they will be looking for activities to do outside as opposed to the ones they do inside all fall and winter long.

Before you get too excited, you must first remember that you will be paying for camping and other activities while at these National Parks. But, you can get into the park free on Saturdays. These free Saturdays will not last long. They are slated to end come May. So, hurry; grab your camping gear and head on over to a National Park for a road trip.
If you are concerned about missing the fee-free Saturdays within April, it is okay. That is, if you are someone who has reached their ‘Golden Years’, a member of the military, have a fourth or fifth-grade child in your group, or if you have a disability, you will receive a discount year-round. So, there is no need to fret if you will be missing the fee-free days of April 2021.
What are some things one must remember during the fee-free Saturdays? If you are going to take a road trip to California to see Yosemite, you will need to make a reservation. That is, if you plan on staying all day, you must let the park know you are coming. They will then count you and your party in for the day’s allotted guests.
Maybe, you cannot get out for a relaxing road trip this spring. You might want to take Utah’s Mighty 5 National Parks Tour. The activity includes all 5 of Utah’s National Parks in pictures. That is correct. You will not need to leave your home for this road trip.
Many of us do not live in an area where we have a National Park near us. To see the National Parks, we must travel to them. That might include an overnight stay at a campground or hotel. We should not forget our camping gear when we go on a road trip.
The National Park Service is offering these special fee-free Saturdays throughout April under an executive order from President Joe Biden. These orders are for those who are looking to get away despite the pandemic.
The National Park Service offers these fee-free days in April 2021, for all. That is, if you are not in one of the above-mentioned groups, you will still receive the discount. If a National Park typically charges an entrance fee for its visitors, you will not need to pay for these select Saturdays.
If you are concerned there will be parks excluded from the fee-free Saturdays, there is no need to be. All parks are open to the public and they will be fee-free on Saturdays throughout April.
You may want to select your top four National Parks and visit these parks–one on each Saturday in April. It is not often that a president will provide residents of the US an opportunity to visit the National Parks for free. You may not want to miss the opportunity to learn a bit more about American history and culture by visiting one of these parks.
