Loneliness is not the same as being alone. Having a spouse with whom you have poor communication and little in common, for instance, can make someone feel lonelier than a single person living alone. There are three zodiac signs with the tendency to feel loneliness more often and more intensely. Find out whether your sign is among the top three.
Taurus (April 20- May 20) Taurus is on the top rung of the loneliness ladder. Taurus people are needy and mistrustful of others, a combination destined for loneliness. To overcome this, Tauruses should embrace their highly-developed reasoning skills to determine whether their mistrust is warranted, leaving enough chances to escape unwanted seclusion.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) As long as Geminis can talk to someone, they won’t be lonely. They love to socialize and make sure they do. If they’re in the midst of people, loneliness is not a concern for this sign.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) Moon children love being around family, but their bond is strong when they’re not. If they’re secure in the knowledge of their loved ones’ well-being, they’re not fazed by lack of their physical presence. Cancer is content to be home alone or with family.
Leo (July 23-August 22) The only time Leos feel lonely is when they’re not the center of attention. Since Leos make sure they are, there’s little chance this feeling will predominate.
Virgo (August 23- September 22) The only time Virgos may feel lonely is when they stop thinking, which is rarely. They’re always busy analyzing people and things, giving them little time to ponder whether or not they’re lacking enough companionship.
Libra (September 23- October 22) The magnetism of Libras draws people to them. However, Libras are far too selective. They are third on the loneliness spectrum. Developing an appreciation for people who don’t conform to Libra’s high standards can help.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21) Scorpios are too self-reliant to allow loneliness to overtake them. If it’s companionship they seek, there will be nothing standing in their way of getting it. Scorpios will resolve this problem before there is one.
Sagittarius (November 22- December 21) You might not think a Sagittarius to be lonely, but they come in second as the loneliest of the zodiac. They best portray the example that being surrounded by people does not preclude loneliness. Their philosophical natures will over-evaluate relationships and their worth, making them feel alone even when among many. Sagittarians would do best to enjoy and be grateful for the many moments they have with others.
Capricorn (December 22- January 19) A Capricorn is another personality type that is too busy with ambition to succeed to make personal interaction a priority. Their few close, usually lifelong friends, provide enough balance to assuage any twinge of loneliness.
Aquarius (January 20- February 18) Aquarius people are perfectly happy with the eccentricities of their personalities which sometimes isolate them from others. For this reason, their tendency to feel this isolation as a negative aspect is uncommon.
Pisces (February 19- March 20) Pisces personalities do not feel loneliness often. Their empathy for others generates that same quality from those they encounter. If they ever feel a bit isolated, they use their creativity to quickly turn their attention away from the feeling.
