GEMINI (May 21 – June 20) – “American Gigolo”
Premier: September 9 on Showtime
A Gemini needs a show as complex and multi-faceted as they are. While the series does center on a (former) gigolo, the premise is so much more than a simple tale of sex-for-hire. Instead, Showtime plunges us into a story of crime, conspiracy and the dark underbelly of the Los Angeles sex industry. As we bounce from the mid-2000s to the present day, will you be able to figure out who framed the main character for murder before he does?
CANCER (June 21 – July 22) – “High School”
Premier: October 14 on Freevee
Based on the bestselling memoir by indie pop artists and twins, Tegan and Sara, this coming-of-age drama will hit you with all the feels. As the main characters navigate high school, they must each strike a balance as one half of an identical sisterhood while simultaneously searching for their individuality. Set in the 90s, the new series is packed with enough nostalgia and endearingly awkward teen moments to warm your crabby heart as the temperature outside drops.
LEO (July 23 – Aug. 22) – “Monarch”
Premier: September 11 on Fox
With all the drama of a soap opera and the glamour of country royalty, this show is as over-the-top as a Leo themselves. Starring iconic actress, Susan Sarandon, and country legend, Trace Adkins, the show chronicles a multi-generational musical dynasty. Battling to save their relationships, overcome personal challenges and suppress decades-long secrets; can the family hold it together long enough to defend their crown?
VIRGO (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22) – “Wedding Season”
Premier: September 8 on Hulu
While Virgo loves a good whodunnit, this gentle sign steers clear of anything disturbing or gory. Instead, witty banter and clever plot twists top their tv wish lists. “Wedding Season” checks off every box, with unrequited love, dangerously charming characters and a wedding night that proves deadly for the groom and his family. As the bride and her ex-lover evade a suspicious police force, they simultaneously attempt to solve the case themselves in an irreverent romantic comedy that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
LIBRA (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22) – “Alaska Daily”
Premier: October 6 on ABC
Igniting Libra’s passion for social justice and redemption, “Alaska Daily” follows disgraced reporter, Eileen Fitzgerald (played by Hilary Swank), to snowy Anchorage for a fresh start. Instead, what she finds is a pattern of missing native women, neglected by law enforcement, politicians and the mainstream media. As Eileen rallies community members to uncover answers, she proves that everyone has the power to fight for what’s right.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21) – “The Midnight Club”
Premier: October 7 on Netflix
With Halloween (and Scorpio season) right around the corner, this sign is ready to embrace everything spooky and mysterious. Luckily, Mike Flanagan is bringing a whole new horror series to Netflix this October.
Following a group of terminally ill teenagers, the series chronicles their secret midnight meetings, scary stories and a pact to contact each other from beyond the grave.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21) – “Shantaram”
Premier: October 14 on Apple TV+
No new show can quench Sagittarius’ insatiable thirst for knowledge and adventure quite like “Shantaram”. Set in 1980s, this thrilling drama series is based on the true story of an Australian bank robber who seeks to avoid capture by slipping into the bustling city of Bombay, India. While running from his past crimes and issues with addiction, the main character, Lin Ford (Charlie Hunnam), falls for a woman in the city and faces his greatest challenge yet, a choice between love and his freedom.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19) – “Quantum Leap”
Premier: September 19 on NBC
Capricorn is limitless, making the most difficult tasks seem like a piece of cake. Only you could relate to “Quantum Leap’s” main character, Ben Seong (Raymond Lee), as he transports himself into the past on a seemingly impossible mission to correct historical wrongs. As Ben’s team scrambles in the present to get him back, it’s an action-packed race against the clock.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18) – “Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”
Premier: September 1 on Amazon Prime
“The Rings of Power” is the latest in “Lord of the Rings” lore, telling the ancient history of the elves through complex characters and stunning imagery. The show, and its enterprising elves, are the perfect match for mystical Aquarius, mirroring the sign’s innovative and rebellious nature. Transitioning from a time of peace to a full-fledged war against the forces of evil, the series highlights Aquarius’ quest for social reform and a better world for all.
PISCES (Feb. 19 – March 20) – “Andor”
Premier: September 21 on Disney+
Governed by Neptune, the planet of dreams and illusion, it’s not surprising that Pisces has a weakness for fantasy-based shows. Picking up the torch for a decades-long “Star Wars” saga, “Andor” takes place years before “Rogue One”, giving us a glimpse inside a universe not yet consumed by the Rebellion. Already heralded by critics, the series promises to depart from the typical “Star Wars” script, moving slowly and deliberately through its new world as the title character gradually transitions from opportunistic hustler to rebel spy.
