Quite often Venus is left feeling that their physical and relationship needs are compromising their self-worth and self-esteem due to a loss of power that is given to Pluto for access to the Venusian wants and needs that for some reason the Venus person is not willing and/or capable of giving itself. In turn, there is Pluto, who may have all the power and control due to coercion and manipulation, but Pluto has very little respect for Venus because while Pluto wants power and control it appears to have little respect for those who give up their own innate power. Ironic, isn’t it?
Checking the Subterfuge of Venus/Pluto
While Venus opposite Pluto does have its negative connotations, as with all tense aspects, there are valuable lessons associated with them that ultimately lead to great growth and awareness. Oppositions are often difficult to resolve because neither one of the planetary energies is willing to be accountable for the energies that they hold and are projecting onto the other.
