Even though the park is opened, the annual pass program that was canceled during the shutdown has yet to return. That’s about to change. Disneyland has rebranded its’ four-tier pass program by transforming it into the new “Magic Key” holders program. Visitors can buy their own “Magic Key” to get into Disneyland year-round starting August 25th at 10 a.m.!
Like its predecessor, the Magic Key program is divided into different tiers. Disneyland has found a way to instill a little more childlike wonder with its “Dream Keys”, “Believe Keys”, and “Imagine Keys”. Getting a hold of any one of these three keys will get you into the park all year but the power of each is key is not equal.
The Power of the “Dream Key”
Among the Magic Keys, the Dream Key unlocks the most access to Disneyland’s wondrous attractions. Priced at $1,399, the Dream Key gives you free parking, unlimited access to the park with no block-out dates, and discounts on merchandise and select dining! This is the perfect key for visitors who just can’t stay away. With no block-out dates, you can celebrate your holidays and special occasions surrounded by the magic of Disneyland’s cast and crew.
Just Believe
You don’t have to get the most powerful key to enjoy the dreamy world of California’s Disneyland. All you have to do is believe. With the Believe Key, you can still most of your free time frolicking Disneyland’s attractions. However, there are a few block-out dates that will you keep away but not many. Unfortunately, the Believe Key doesn’t grant you access to free parking but it does cut the cost in half. The Believe Key runs $949. At just under a thousand dollars, you are saving money after just fourteen visits in the year!
Imagine Yourself at Disneyland
The least powerful key is the “Imagine Key”. It grants access throughout the year but you may not be able to use it to get in on major holidays, weekends, in summer months, or during peak times of the year. This key is for the more creative visitors to Disneyland who want to experience a world of wonder with fewer other visitors around. Imagine Key-holders can spice up their week with a hump-day trip to Disneyland and take advantage of shorter lines! This is the least expensive of the Magic Keys at $399. Even if you can’t use it to get through the gates at the most popular times of the year, it doesn’t take long to begin to imagine the fun you can have with unlimited access to a less populated park for that special private adventure.
Get Your Magic Key
You’ll still need to make a reservation to get into Disneyland but any Magic Key holder can place two to six reservations on hold at a time. Preplan all your trips with easy access that feels magic. With everything Magic Keys have to offer and the promise of special benefits and unique surprises throughout the year, regular visitors to Disneyland are sure to absolutely love the new program.
Get ready to get your key! The magical adventure of California’s Disneyland is only the click of a finger away. Use the Disneyland App or Disneyland’s website to purchase your Magic Key. Sales begin at 10 a.m. on August 25th. Early Magic Key holders who purchase their keys within 66 days of their release will also receive a special welcome package.
