Bart crosses a line when he goes too far for a Christmas gift. He wants a violent video game, but it’s too expensive for his family. He decides to just shoplift it. He realizes that Bonestorm might not be worth it. His mother has lost her trust in him, and that’s not cool at Christmas.
‘Seinfeld’ – “The Strike”
This episode invented an entirely new holiday. Festivus is now legendary as an annual protest held by Frank Costanza as he stands against commercializing Christmas. No one decorates a tree, they gather around a pole to play a game. The best part of Festivus could be the “Airing of Grievances.” This makes for a very unique, strange holiday dinner celebration.

The best family Christmas gift should be a color television this holiday season. Kevin and Wayne team up to try to get their dad to invest in a brand new color TV. Winnie gives Kevin a gift, but he wasn’t ready for that. He spends most of the episode trying to find her the perfect gift.
‘Family Matters’ – “Miracle on Elm Street”
Richie brings home a surprise Christmas guest. The Winslows aren’t quite sure how to handle this special guest. Meanwhile, Steve Urkel is on a hunt to find Laura’s childhood doll. He’s going through trash hoping to find her treasure.
‘Will & Grace’- “Jingle Balls”
These four can’t throw a boring holiday celebration. Jack gets to decorate a Barney’s window for the holiday shopping season. His assistant, Karen, isn’t making it easy at all. She doesn’t want a nice display. She thinks it’s better to go naughty with an S&M window.
Designing Women’ – “I’ll be Home For Christmas”
Hiring a Santa Claus to come into your house off the street might not be the best idea. Suzanna Sugarbaker thinks she’s doing a good deed until Santa steals all the gifts. The best part is when the characters all tell each other what they got each other turning their simple gifts into extravagant presents. They might have to come clean in the end.
‘The Addams Family’- “Christmas With the Addams Family”
The holiday season can be doom and gloom in a happy family way when you’re the Addams family. When the crew hears that Wednesday and Pugsley were told there’s no Santa, they go into full force holiday mode. They’re not letting Christmas magic fade away. Let’s turn kooky into holly.
‘Community’ – “Abed’s Uncontrollable Christmas”
Jump into the genius mind of Abed who is obsessed with pop culture. This episode is an animated tribute to stop-motion classics like “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Abed is stuck on a crazy planet filled with snow. He’s on his way to finding out the meaning of the season. His buddies bring him back to reality.
‘Cheers’ – “Christmas Cheer”
Rebecca is the Grinch. She makes Sam work on Christmas Eve, which makes him very angry. She isn’t in the holiday mood at all. After a while, everyone bonds at the bar. The tipsy Santas are the best part of the entire episode. Sam even encounters an angel of Christmas right there in the bar.
‘The Office’ – “CHristmas Special”
The British version of “The Office” has some funny episodes, this one is the series finale. Ricky Gervais is the head of the company holiday party. The booze is flowing so everyone is able to open up about their feelings. The romance is on top. The laughter is everywhere. It’s an episode that touches your heart and makes you laugh.
‘Fresh Off the Boat’ – “The Real Santa”
Jessica thinks Santa isn’t relevant to her kids. She turns him into a Chinese math and science genius. This Santa calls his mom every day. Jessica doesn’t do a great job at changing Santa for her kids. It’s a heartwarming, funny episode about how far parents will go to make traditions fit their family.
‘The Office’ – “Christmas Party”
Nothing crazy can happen at an office holiday party, right? Jim and Pam follow each other like little puppy dogs in love. Michael has a budding bromance with Ryan. Michael gets pretty mad when he receives a hand-knitted oven mitt from Phyllis. He then decides to turn the party into a while game of Yankee Swap.
‘Glee’ – “Extraordinary Merry Christmas”
This episode pays tribute to “The Judy Garland Christmas Show” and the “Star Wars Holiday Special.” Artie directs the glee club in this black-and-white special. It’s got some heartwarming moments, especially when the club shows up at a homeless shelter. The singing alone is amazing to watch in this episode.
‘Married … With Children’ – “You Better Watch Out”
Al and Peggy can’t have anything merry in their marriage. There’s a new mall in town and it isn’t doing al’s shoe store any good. The mall hires a skydiving Santa to promote the new place, but he crashes and perishes in the Bundy’s backyard. The antics that follow are just as crazy as any episode.
