Over the course of a year, Disney has been making announcements about content coming to the site. With so many well known titles in their catalog, the company is building off nostalgia and specific fanbases for their first additions to the site.
Iin terms of remakes or reboots,this Disney streaming service has fans of all ages covered. Announced titles based on famous franchises include Home Alone and Night at the Museum. it’s not just movies making their mark in this category, High School Musical will also get a new take on its famous characters.
The real jewels of the service’s original content comes from their Marvel and Star Wars related titles. The Mandalorian, directed by Jon Favreau, brings a new story to the Star Wars universe. It’s the first of several announced series from the franchise with others in development like the much anticipated Obi Wan prequel which is rumored to star Ewan Mcgregor.
Marvel fans also have something to look forward to thanks to the inclusion of special series only seen on the service. Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki will all feature the original actors from the films in continuing original storylines. an animated Marvel project, What If?, is also coming to the site.
