Warner Bros. Brings Batman Day to Fans All Over The World!
On September 17, 2022, Batman fans all over the world will celebrate the bravery, strength, and wit of their favorite superhero. In 2014, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment introduced Batman Day to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Batman’s first appearance in Detective Comics. Since then, honorary Gothamites all over the world have paid tribute to the Dark Knight every third Saturday of September. Fans cosplay as their favorite characters in the Batman universe, attend watch parties, read comic books, and build their memorabilia collections. Batman Day celebrations span five continents, with North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania all getting in on the action. This year, Warner Bros. will sponsor a spectacular array of Batman Day activities that are sure to excite fans across America. Comic book shops will give away free copies of Batman: Hush #1, a special edition Batman Day comic. DC Comics will also release a special edition of Batman #608, by Jim Lee and Jeph Loeb.

From September 16 to September 19, gamers can join the MultiVersus Batman Day in-game event featuring the Caped Crusader. Players who complete 20 matches as Batman will receive a Batman profile icon. Injustice 2 Mobile players can enter the Knightmare Batman Arena to access the Classic #Batman Arena Invasion. Participants may receive a special profile picture in commemoration of Batman Day, plus free daily gifts.

The Batman rogue’s gallery is taking over social media! Warner Bros. and Cartamundi are suiting up for the next release of DC Hybrid NFT Trading Cards, taking place September 19 on the Hro app platform. The drop features a special mythic reward card that features the Dark Knight throwing a batarang. On Discord, the Bat Cowl channel will treat Bat Cowl NFT holders to a special Batman Day experience. On September 6, HBO Max announced the casting of voice talent for the upcoming Batman Azteca: Choque de Imperios (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires). Horacio Garcia Rojas will play Yohualli (Batman), Omar Chaparro will play Yoka (The Joker), and Alvaro Morte will play Hernan Cortes (Two-Face). Set during the time of the Aztec Empire, the film tells the story of a young Aztec boy named Yohualli Coatl who uses the temple of the bat god Tzinacan as a lair while he trains to avenge the murder of his father.
