The Summer Solstice refers to the day when the sun seemingly ceases movement. During this fateful time, the day will be at its longest of the year. Astrologically, it marks the full ascension of masculinity and fire, and yet, only to follow is longer nights and shadow work. Interestingly enough, Cancer, the feminine Zodiac sign, begins with the Summer Solstice. And so, both feminine and masculine energies will be in harmony. More to the point, this year the Summer Solstice brings with it an embarking journey. The cosmos’s orchestration leads each sign on a quest to uncover truths about themselves.
